The new QR system
The latest development is called the Quick Rig System. The central tube of the mast system is half-open so that the mast can be folded to the side after assembly and adjusting the base. It's a real relief that saves considerable installation time, particularly with taller masts.
All masts in DKW's range have a maximum transport length of 3 metres. This is often shorter for masts of up to 6 m. This enables simple transport and logistics up to the roof. The graduated tapering of the masts provides even better capacity for bearing wind loads.
